Get your group involved by having a page for your support group on this web site to report your events or activities. It can be modeled to your liking such as the Surrey, Coquitlam or Vancouver pages. There is very little work in putting this together. The Vancouver Island Prostate Cancer Research Foundation created this pin from the inspiration of one of the foundation members. The Chair of the Ottawa Support Group proposed the phrase "Strength, Unity, & Courage" and so the symbol and motto were born. Dr Larry Goldenberg, from the Vancouver Prostate Centre of Excellence, introduced the pin at an Annual Meeting of the Canadian Urological Association (CUA). It was immediately and unanimously accepted by the Association (CUA), the Canadian Urological Oncology Group (CUOG), the Canadian Prostate Cancer Network (CPCN) and the Canadian Prostate Health Council (CPCH). This symbol has now become the national symbol of Prostate Support Groups across Canada and for Prostate Cancer awareness.
